Regeneration projects require collaboration built on trust

To be successful they need credible goals, shared determination and above all, forward motion.

This is a lot easier to achieve when you are working with a project delivery partner who appreciates all sides of the story.

Radics Consulting approach all projects with energy, creativity and an informed eye. We combine in-depth understanding of public sector working with the commercial acumen and clarity you need to achieve social and financial outcomes.

Collabortation on regeneration projects

Radics Consulting was established in April 2020 by Beckie Joyce.

After 30 years of experience in land, property, economic development, regeneration and commercial roles I am even more driven by the satisfaction of finding and promoting the win-win scenario.

A degree in urban studies set me on my regeneration and development path and living in Naples – a truly complex city – deepened my interest, but it was working at Manchester City Council, watching and learning the art of the possible and realising the need for public and private partners to collaborate to make things happen that truly set the dye. My commitment to positive regeneration led to me and my husband building a city centre home and Manchester’s first licensed delicatessen and café.

After that adventure I continued working for local authorities in Greater Manchester and Lancashire and after spending enough time overseeing appointment of consultants and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams I decided to view things from that side of the fence working in private practice.

In April 2020 I bit the bullet and set up Radics Consulting and am now working with clients, providing hands on strategy development, implementing development priorities, advising on town and city regeneration and development schemes, managing stakeholders, leading project teams, negotiating commercial terms with landowners and developers and leading and supporting on bidding for and implementing government funding initiatives.

“Beckie is a very hardworking, tenacious person who has a great deal of experience in public/private partnerships who gets things done and makes things happen.

I first met Beckie when I moved to work for the Maple Grove Developments part of the Eric Wright Group and we successfully got legal agreements and a hybrid planning consent in place for a 160 acres (65 hectare) strategic site in central Lancashire.

Beckie is very personable and I would recommend anyone to use her services and advice for any project.”
Karen Hirst | Managing Director - Maple Grove
“Beckie provides informed and strategic advice to me and my senior management team supporting us in the delivery of the Council’s regeneration agenda.

Her authentically inclusive style of working means she is adept at unpacking the “too hard” boxes. She can quickly identify and articulate the root of a matter and brings teams together to focus and collaborate on solutions.

Beckie has excellent political awareness and is extremely well connected; she brings energetic influence and outstanding commitment.

She is determined to get the best outcomes for our city’s ambitious investment programme, the delivery of our new leisure scheme Animate and shaping Preston’s Levelling Up Fund ambitions.”
